Hand coloured candles -Light

“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

It can also refer to Matthew 5:14
And this lovely verse from 2 Samuel 22:29
“You, Lord, are my lamp; the Lord turns my darkness into light.”
And this one from Psalm 18:28
“You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.”

The Christian Cross

The cross of Christ is the most recognised symbol of Christianity and mentioned forty-six times in the New Testament.  There are many cross crafts which I will add to this page as I find them.

Flower Craft

Woven Desk Caddy


You might have to use your imagination here, but I thought this might be a useful reminder for the story of Joseph in Genesis Chapter 40 and onward.  I was thinking of the part in the story where Joseph hid a silver cup in his brother’s luggage.  Using grey or silver wool instead of the multicolour,  you could use this to remind the children of the story.  Follow this link here to find the instructions or click on the picture above.
